My period is now comfortable

I was skeptic about period underwear but I wanted to try an alternative to period pads that would be comfortable and good for the environment. For me periods have always been uncomfortable because of the feeling of the pads between my legs, as well as having to change them regularly due to my heavy flow, nevertheless the classic bikini really feels like any other pair of comfortable underwear, and the absorbency is truly impressive. Washing them is also really simple and there are no stains on it.

I would highly recommend this product.

My first try of period pants and I love them. I do wait till my period is fully finished before washing them all together which sometimes means I do have to wash them twice to ensure they are fully fresh but honestly i love the freedom knowing i can wear them all day and not have to worry. Perfect 10/10

Life changer for heavy periods

I have incredibly heavy periods as I have a coil. My periods are about 2 week long and I typically I would bleed through a night pad during the day within an hour or two, night time I don’t tend to bleed much at all.

At the start and end of my period I can get away with wearing these for a full 24 hours and would say my flow is what a typical period would usually be. During the heaviest days of my period, I can probably wear them for 4-5 hours maximum. I experienced leakage through the seams which I only noticed because I bought a few pairs of the nude colour, however it did transfer onto my clothes on some days. But my period is very heavy so I wouldn’t say this is overly the pants fault, however I did still find some seam leakage on my lighter days but this didn’t transfer onto my clothes.

There is no horrid feeling of sogginess that you typically get with a pad which I really like, despite wearing them for hours. The horrid period smell was practically non-existent which is a miracle considering the heatwave in the UK at the moment which I am very happy about.

Cleaning them was a bit of a faff I will admit, by the end of my period I got into the routine of washing them in cold water as soon as I took them off to get the blood out and popping them in a zip lock bag. Once three pairs were in the bag I would then soak them in luke warm water with washing detergent and give them a little scrub. They did dry pretty quickly but it is very hot at the moment so I am not sure…
